The High Climbers Brotherhood (UK Chapter) was welcomed into Broadlands to climb in their historic parkland, we were given a huge space to perform complex rigging demonstrations, recreationally climb and to hold our annual meeting which catered for 26 people. Everyone got the chance to climb trees which no one else will have, which made the experience even more special. We were able to camp on site which really brought our community together round the fire each evening. The process for planning our event was made easy and painless, with lots of clear communication throughout, resulting in a great weekend for us and some high-quality arboricultural works for Broadlands. It is thanks to brilliant groups of people such as the Management team and the Earl and Countess at Broadlands who allow us to make great arborists better by facilitating these kinds of gatherings to level up individuals’ skills and experience.
