Our time at Broadlands was fantastic. Richard looked after us immensely and did an incredible job of accommodating, making our photoshoot run as smoothly as possible. The entire team at Broadlands is lovely, and the grounds are incredible. The estate is even more beautiful and striking in person.
We shot in various locations at Broadlands, including in front of the main House, by the Orangery, around the old barns and the river. The estate offers such a wide range of locations, allowing you to capture many different aesthetics and caters for a wide range of creative directions. We used the Stables and Orangery as our hair and makeup bases; access to electricity, heaters, and toilets provided a hugely beneficial and comfortable space.
If you’re thinking about using Broadlands for a film set, photo shoot location, or general venue use, I would recommend their services, you won’t be disappointed!

The High Climbers Brotherhood (UK Chapter) was welcomed into Broadlands to climb in their historic parkland, we were given a huge space to perform complex rigging demonstrations, recreationally climb and to hold our annual meeting which catered for 26 people. Everyone got the chance to climb trees which no one else will have, which made the experience even more special. We were able to camp on site which really brought our community together round the fire each evening. The process for planning our event was made easy and painless, with lots of clear communication throughout, resulting in a great weekend for us and some high-quality arboricultural works for Broadlands. It is thanks to brilliant groups of people such as the Management team and the Earl and Countess at Broadlands who allow us to make great arborists better by facilitating these kinds of gatherings to level up individuals’ skills and experience. We would love to come again in future! Thank you!
We had a very enjoyable experience at Broadlands while shooting in the Orangery. The location was stunning and easily accessible, with ample parking for our team and equipment. Richard’s exceptional support and warmth made the entire process a delight. We were impressed with the flexibility and hospitality and are considering returning to Broadlands for future shoots.

Communication with us before, during and after the event was readily available, making the show planning and the running of the event so much easier as we all knew what was required to solve any issues, which inevitably do occur as is the nature of outdoor events. In other words, there were no problems since working together meant there were always solutions.

We both want to say a huge thank you for making our wedding day so special! Broadlands really is a stunning venue and we loved getting married there, and really appreciate the support you and Sarah gave us throughout the planning process and on the day itself.
Broadlands have been a member of Romsey & District Chamber of Commerce & Industry for several years and we are keen to utilise and support our member venues as much as we can. We hosted our Executive Meeting in July in the wonderful grounds of The Orangery and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Richard was a pleasure to work with in the lead-up to the meeting, prompt to respond to questions and gave us clear instructions as to how to access the venue. Hannah, who met us on arrival and at the end of meeting, was friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful. The team went above and beyond to make sure the meeting went smoothly and we were well looked after, even arranging glorious weather so we could sit outside! Thank you to the team at Broadlands and we look forward to hosting more meetings in the future.
Filming at Broadlands was a great experience. Richard is a pleasure to work with – very flexible and willing to help out with requests on the day.
The estate is easily accessible from London and can park a lot of crew vehicles and the Orangery acts as a location or as a great base for cast and crew. The estate is quiet with a wide range of different filming spaces.
Overall, it was a pleasure to film here.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you did to facilitate our filming session at Broadlands. Communication with regards to directions, access and timings was excellent, and there was a member of staff ready at the venue to assist with arrivals and setting up on the day.
The light and colours of the Orangery lent themselves beautifully to the filming, creating just the right ambience. We chose to leave the doors open and embrace the sound of birds singing and the beautiful backdrop of greenery outside for a truly natural feel.
Access was brilliant, with parking right next to the orangery making for a relaxed set-up.
I look forward to returning to Broadlands soon.
